Pulse: AI Calorie Tracker Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 9, 2026
This privacy policy applies to Pulse: AI Calorie Tracker, Android package com.srose.sessionalpulse, published on Google Play by Rose Software. Pulse may also appear in the app as Sessional Pulse. For privacy questions or requests, contact Rose Software at support@sammrose.com.
Information We Collect
Pulse helps users estimate nutrition from meal photos and keep a simple food timeline. We collect the information needed to provide those features, including account details such as email address and account identifier, meal entries, uploaded meal photos, reusable food templates, generated nutrition estimates, and purchase entitlement status.
How We Use Information
We use this data to operate the app, provide meal-photo analysis, save your meal history, maintain subscription access, provide support, protect against abuse, and improve reliability. Pulse is a tracking tool, not a medical device, and nutrition estimates are approximate.
Service Providers and Sharing
Meal photos and app data are stored with Supabase. AI analysis requests may be processed by OpenAI. Subscription and entitlement status is managed through RevenueCat and the relevant app store, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store. We use these providers only to operate Pulse and do not sell personal information.
Security
We use hosted service providers, access controls, and encrypted network connections to help protect personal and sensitive user data. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to limit access to the data needed to operate and support Pulse.
Retention and Deletion
We retain account and app data while your Pulse account is active or as needed to provide the service, support users, maintain billing integrity, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations. You can delete your account from Settings in the app or request deletion at https://sessional.io/delete-account. Account deletion removes your user-owned Pulse app data and stored meal photos. Limited records may be retained where needed for legal, security, billing, or fraud-prevention reasons.
